What's new

A monthly summary of what's improved in iGPA.

Updates ship without downtime, and nothing you've saved changes when we update.

The AI reader gets most grades right, and pricing gets simpler

  • The AI reader handles long and multi-document transcripts

We tested the reader against 58 real transcripts from about 30 countries. It now reads 85% of grade cells correctly, up from 31%, and still never invents a grade for a blank cell. It reads every document in a file, takes marks from the original when a translation is attached, and understands marks written as "19.33/20", "97%" or "6 (six)".

  • Two plans: Free and Premium

One paid plan now includes everything: workspaces, the AI transcript reader, the Dashboard and PDF reports. Premium is $588 a year at the launch price through December 31, 2026 (list price $788). Current subscribers keep the price they signed up at.

  • Global Education Systems is part of Premium

The country-by-country reference — academic calendars, grading scales and accepted proof of graduation for 180+ systems — now comes with Premium alongside the Dashboard, History and PDF reports. The Free plan is the calculator: unlimited conversions with real-time GPA results.

  • No limit on team members

Premium has no seat limits. Everyone at your institution can join your team at no extra cost, from the director to student workers, so every evaluation is done the same way.

Try the calculator first, and let the AI do the typing

  • Calculate without an account

Anyone can pick an education system, enter courses and see the GPA without signing up. Nothing is stored until you choose to save.

  • Built-in AI reading, 100 reads a month included

Paid accounts can switch on transcript reading with no API key to manage, with 100 reads a month for the whole institution. Institutions that prefer their own Anthropic or OpenAI key can still use it.

  • Cleaner Dashboard rankings

City, program, sport and agent rankings treat "Sao Paulo", "São Paulo" and "sao paulo " as one entry, so your top markets add up correctly.

Enrollment Analysis: see where your funnel leaks

  • Enrollment Analysis

Drop in an export from your CRM, map its columns once, and see application volume, funnel progress, cycle pace, enrollment rate and source-market performance. The file is read in your browser and never uploaded.

  • Findings that say what your data means

Enrollment Analysis opens with plain-language findings: what happened, what it means and what to check next, ranked by how much it matters. You can adjust how sensitive each finding is to fit an office of 300 applications or 30,000.

  • Backups tested every month

We restored a full copy of the database from backup and verified it, and that check now repeats monthly.

Your calculator on your website, and yield by stage

  • Embed the calculator on your own website

Place the iGPA calculator on your admissions pages. Prospective students can upload a transcript and get an estimate, and paid accounts see the resulting inquiries on the Embed Leads page in their workspace.

  • Tag, filter and export records in History

Tag any saved record by enrollment status (Application, Admitted or Enrolled), academic level, student type (athlete or non-athlete), IB curriculum, intended program and agent or recruiter, one at a time or in bulk. Then filter and export by any of them, so territories and agents show yield, not just application volume.

  • Visa wait times show their source date

Global Visa Wait Times refresh automatically and show the date of the official data they come from.

Tags and workspaces

  • Tag each conversion as you save it

Record academic level, student type, IB curriculum, intended program and agent or recruiter at save time. Program and agent values you add are reusable across your institution.

  • Workspaces built from your tags

Give Undergraduate, Graduate, Athletics or any custom cohort its own Dashboard and History, without splitting your records.
